Thornton anti tank obstacles
These anti-tank obstacles-called Dragons Teeth-now lie beside the road into the village of Thornton, Fife, between the towns of Glenrothes and Kirkcaldy. Originally they would have been set into the road surface to make a roadblock.

This modified Type 22 pillbox across the road marks the start of the Fife Command Line, a system of pillboxes, anti-tank ditches and strongpoints which stretched west across the country to just north of Dunblane in Perthshire.
