William Adam
David Erskine commissioned William Adam to build The House of Dun in the 1730's . It is a modest sized country house . The plasterwork in The House of Dun is by Joseph Enzer for which he was paid £216 in 1742.
Major works of William Adam include Arniston and The Drum (both 1726), House of Dun (1730), Chatel-herault (1731), Duff House (1735) and additions to Hopetoun House.
